David Serotzki, 14-01-18 08:54:
I just hope there are plans to re-introduce the concept for future years, even if it has to be on a biennial basis. I have greatly valued the opportunity these conferences provide for growth in my coaching knowledge plus development of football friendships and networks, since first attending in 2014. I can understand the break - I did feel last year had a number of options that were similar to previous years and it must be particularly difficult to achieve fresh informative sessions and high quality key note speakers on a regular basis. But I do want to say that the conference format appeals to me in a way that separate, smaller involvements won't. I am time poor in my work (and coaching) life (as I am sure most are) and committing to one weekend which has a slightly "exotic" aspect to it is far easier than finding the time to squeeze in a few hours here and a day there across the work and coaching year.
Thank you for the opportunity to comment.
