Why support umpires?

Everyone impacts on the match-day environment that umpires participate in. Retaining enough umpires to officiate in matches will only occur if everyone takes responsibility for their behaviour on match day.

Creating a positive match-day environment for umpires is particularly critical given that the number of umpires required can no longer keep up with the growth of the game.

MOULAMEIN FOOTBALL NETBALL CLUB, 25-06-10 18:40:

I make sure I always talk to them and stire them up. At half time we always make sure there is a cold drink and two plates of sandwiches in their room. If posible I try to make sure i have a beer with them after the game.
