Montmorency FC Appoints Female Coach

Friday, March 16, 2012

Victoria's Montmorency Junior Football Club is delighted to announce Celia Piesse as their inaugural Youth Girls coach.

As a player for over 10 years in three different states, Celia will be one of the most highly decorated coaches Montmorency has had in its 88 year history.

Not only is Celia an outstanding individual, she is a footballer with a high degree of success, having played eight seasons of state representative football in the army and taken on the role of state Vice Captain.

Celia is also a fully qualified personal trainer and is currently well advanced with her studies at LaTrobe University to become a nutritionist.

Despite the Youth Girls team launch only last week, the side has already attracted great support and player numbers. Training begins on Wednesday March 21, 4.30pm at Montmorency oval.

President, Peter Gray strongly encourages all secondary school aged girls to join Celia and make history in 2012 by being part of the first ever Montmorency female footy team.

For more information on how to join, contact Peter at 0412 480 809 or pbgmjfc@gmail.com.
