OPSM Announce Clubs to Receive Cash & Sherrins

OPSM, the official eyecare partner of the AFL, have announced the fifteen clubs who have been selected as part of their great new initiative, the Sports Vision for Clubs program.

The program was open to all grass roots clubs across Australia with the final makeup comprising of a mixture of both regional and metro junior and senior clubs, including two womenís clubs, Melbourne University Women's Football Club and the Darebin Women's Sports Club.

As part of the programís overarching goal of helping clubs reach their potential, each of the selected clubs will receive:

  • $1000 cash
  • $1000 worth of Sherrins
  • Eye screening for the whole club including players, coaches, parents and fans

As the official sponsor of the AFL Umpires as well, OPSM are continuing their support of umpires at the grass roots level with the Southern Umpires Association in Victoria being one of the clubs selected.
