Dean Apos from Melbourne Grammar School, Victoria has defeated over 3,000 students across Australia to be named the national champion of the 2015 AFL Schools Footy Tipping Competition.
The competition was open to primary and secondary students across Australia.
As part of the competition students selected over the 23 AFL Rounds their winning AFL teams and state and national winners was based on the highest aggregate score/ranking.
Dean will receive an I-Pad, $500 AFL Store voucher and a football signed by Trent Cotchin. Melbourne Grammar School will also receive an AFL 9s kit.

ACT - Darcy McAuliffe, Fadden Primary School
QLD - Thomas Furlonger, Coomera State School
TAS – Lachlan Ayton, Reece High School
NT – Ryan Blenkinship, The Essington School
NSW - Henry Grinter, St Frances De Sales College
