In 2012 the AFL Schools program offered students to participate in an online AFL season footy tipping competition.
This was the inaugural year of this competition which builds upon the AFL’s other online engagement competition, the AFL Dream Team.
Over 7,000 students registered to develop their analytical and prediction skills by determining the AFL match winners for Rounds 1-23.
Each week a certificate of achievement and football was provided to the best tipster for the week in all state/territories.
The following state/territory winners have won a combination of an AFL Sherrin football and AFL Store/Online Gift vouchers.
Each student's school also receives an AFL Prize pack. The overall winner for 2012 was Lachlan Heyes (VIC) who tipped 156 matches correctly.
