The AFL is looking for the best schoolkid Dream Team player in Australia!

Are you the James Hird of the schoolyard? The Ross Lyon of the playground? The Alastair Clarkson of the classroom?

Here's how it works:

• Simply register for Toyota AFL Dream Team and select your team.
  There's no special entry form - the system automatically detects school-age players
• From rounds 1 to 20, you will compete against every other Dream Team coach at your school. If you top the list, you will be ranked against every other school champ from your state or territory
• The state and territory champions will then battle it out in a Dream Team Finals competition, based on the actual AFL Top 8 Finals Series
• From round 20, the state and territory champs will go head-to-head in a knockout comp, until the final two play off in round 24 to decide the National Schools Dream Team AFL Premiership!

There are heaps of great prizes up for grabs, including the major prize of a money-can't-buy trip for two to the 2012 Toyota AFL Grand Final* in Melbourne!

You can also win great prizes by participating in and representing your school in the National Schools Competition! Prizes include:

National Champion

• A package of AFL equipment from Harts Sports and funds to purchase educational resources for your school. Value: $5000
• A Grand Final experience including two tickets to the 2012 Toyota AFL Grand Final, flights, accommodation and a chance to participate in the Grand Final Parade
• AFL guernsey and Dream Team Sherrin football, both signed by Dream Team Ambassador, Nick Maxwell
• iPad 2 (32 GB Wi Fi)

National Runner Up

• A package of AFL equipment from Harts Sports and funds to purchase educational resources for your school. Value $3000
• AFL guernsey and Dream Team Sherrin football, both signed by Dream Team Ambassador, Nick Maxwell
• iPad 2 (32 GB Wi Fi)

State Champion

• A package of AFL equipment from Harts Sports and funds to purchase educational resources for your school. Value $1250
